There is plenty to do for people of all ages. The shopping is versatile, and the farm park is great for all ages. There are playparks for the kids and plenty of talks/shows that run throughout the weekend/holidays. Its worth checking to see if there are any special events on throughout the year.
Transport
The easiest access is via car. The 300 bus from Chelmsford to Thurrock runs through it.
Nature
Various farm animals reside onsite. From the traditional, you might expect cows and sheep, as well as meercats and birds.
Education
Events such as the bird meet and greets provide great opportunities to learn. The onsite staff are able to explain much about the farm and the goings on around Barleylands. School trips run on-site too.
