Mobility Summary
The pier itself has ramp access, allowing wheelchair and scooter users to explore the majority of the site. Surfaces are mostly wooden decking and flat concrete. Not all facilities, primarily the fairground, are fully accessible; however, staff will make provisions where possible.
Clacton Pier is partnered with Nimbus Disability, which allows users to get an essential companion wristband for the pier facilities.

Activities on the pier range from fairground rides, arcades, the Ferris Wheel, darts, adventure golf and more. Of course, it is also on the Clacton coast, so it has direct access to the seafront.
Food and Drink
The pier is home to several eateries. Including the Broadwalk Bar which hosts live music events and live sports. It serves burgers, wraps to hot dogs. The Bay Family Restaurant is a family-friendly spot for all ages.
There are also plenty of stands and kiosks serving typical seafront grab-and-go options.

The pier offers fishing all year round. Day permits and annual permits are available for purchase to anglers, beginner or advanced. Visitors have a chance to catch codling, bass, whiting and more.
